“One of the most challenging tasks facing young adults today is finding their true purpose in life. So many voices are crying for our attention, and everyone around us has their own opinion of what goals we should set for ourselves. This got me thinking about my unique purpose and destiny, so I took a couple pieces of blank paper and began writing down any goals that popped into mind. Where did I see myself in five years? ten? Instead of making a New Year’s resolution, I decided to write an extensive list of goals, aspirations, and dreams that I’d like to achieve, or take steps towards accomplishing in 2009. Among them are filming the new Alyson Stoner Project series (1, 2, and 3), and releasing the original ASP (Look for it in February), recording songs, and using my influence to help others. The first step I’m taking for the last goal is lending coats and jackets to an organization that provides winter coats for people in need. You can see Disney Channel stars and me doing just this on Good Morning America (January 7th).

I encourage you to meditate over which dreams you really want to pursue, and what may be distracting you from fulfilling this. I can’t wait to hear about what you do this year…!!
